Welcome to Chaser Sportfishing
The Chaser is a 46 foot Custom Built Ricky Scarborough boat. Her salon is heated and air conditioned for your comfort on the way to the fishing holes.
She sports great tackle ranging from spinning reels, TLD 20's and 25's, Penn International 50's, 50w's, 80's, 80w's up to 130 lb reels.
Electronics include, GPS, bottom machine, radar and 2 VHF radios. All the standard safety equipment.
Captain Steve Jones started fishing for a living when he was 17, 22 years ago. He was a mate on charter and commercial boats for 12 years. As owner and Captain of the Chaser, he stresses that it's all about the customer and he's open to catering to what the customer wants in a day of fishing.
Captain Steve won the 1986 Hatteras Harbor Bluewater Open as a mate, the 1993 Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament as a mate, and the 2000 Hatteras Village Offshore Open as Captain of the Chaser.
